1. About this site

This website is published by Eternal Minds AB (organisationsnummer 559527-5719, VAT SE559527571901), Roslagsgatan 20 b, 761 31 Norrtälje, Sweden. Contact: contact email. It is a marketing site for Cold Response, a PC survival game in development.

2. The game is in development

Cold Response is a work in progress. Features, systems, screenshots, performance numbers, server caps, release windows and pricing described on this site are not commitments. They reflect the current state of the project and may change, ship differently, or be cut entirely before launch. We will not be held to a description that no longer matches the shipped product.

In particular, any of the following may evolve or be removed before release: ballistics behavior, base building rules and upkeep numbers, group sizes, the dynamic event system, the vendor / economy systems, drone behavior, server population caps, modding capabilities, and the open-source AngelScript gameplay layer.

3. No warranty

The site is provided "as is", with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, Eternal Minds AB is not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental or special damages arising out of your use of the site.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory Swedish or EU consumer law.

4. Outbound links and third-party services

Links from this site to Steam, Discord, YouTube and Instagram lead to services we do not control. We are not responsible for the availability, content or terms of those services. When you click through, the destination's own terms, privacy policy and minimum-age rules govern. In particular:

5. AngelScript and open-source code

Cold Response uses an open-source AngelScript gameplay layer. When that code is published, it will live in a separate repository under its own licence (BSD-style, intent: free for server-side modding, no commercial redistribution of the compiled game). Nothing on this marketing site grants you a licence to any Cold Response asset, code or trademark — please wait for the repository to ship and consult the LICENCE file there.

6. Trademarks and content

"Cold Response", the Cold Response wordmark, the in-game screenshots and the devlog text on this site are the property of Eternal Minds AB and may not be reproduced for commercial use without permission. Press and content creators may use screenshots and short quotes for review, reporting or coverage under standard fair use / quotation rules.

7. Acceptable use

Don't scrape the site at a rate that disrupts service, don't try to break the hosting, and don't impersonate Eternal Minds AB or its team. We reserve the right to block traffic that does any of the above.

8. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by Swedish law, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be heard by the courts of Sweden, with Stockholm as first instance. If you are a consumer based in another EU member state, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence under Regulation (EC) 593/2008 (Rome I).

9. Changes

If we update these terms we'll bump the Effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.
